When you support Symphony847, you help us continue our mission of providing a quality musical forum for musicians in the Chicago area to perform exceptional literature for the community. We are very appreciative of all the contributions we receive. Here are some of the ways our community will benefit:
- Symphony847 will perform professional quality concerts throughout the year.
- Our Guest Artist Series will bring in professional composers, conductors, instrumentalists and vocalists to the area from all around the world. Not only will these world-renowned artists join us on stage, but we aim to bring them around the community and into the local schools to work with area students.
- Following our concerts we plan to host our Meet the Conductor series where we provide a chance for the audience to talk with the conductor about the particular pieces they heard. It is also a chance to meet with our guest artists and composers
- As part of our service to the community, we offer several small groups within Symphony847 that go out and perform several times a year at area nursing homes, churches and other events.
Please join us with your support for our season. Your generosity will ensure that we are able to provide the most creative musical experience to our community.
